Most systems in freight and construction are filing cabinets with a login. They record what happened after it happened, in the shape the last system used, because that is the shape everyone expects.
We start somewhere else. What is the work, actually. Who knows the number first, and when. What has to be true for a record to survive being checked a year later.
Answer those and the software comes out different. Simple where a person touches it — one screen, one number, a foreman with a phone and something else to do. Complicated underneath, and AI native, because that is where complication belongs.
Auditable whether or not anyone audits it.
